Safe Work Australia Month (safety month) is held around Australia throughout the month of October.

Safety month encourages people to get involved in and concentrate on safety in their workplace to reduce death, injury and disease.

This year's theme is Work safe. Home safe which reminds us that the most important reason for making our workplace safe, is not at work at all.
